The difference in one line

ChatGPT answers. It never notices. It waits for you to think of the question, ask it well, and judge whether the answer was actually checked. Nobody's Projects folder tells them a competitor opened on Lighthouse last month.

And when the evidence runs out, it fills the gap. Every report here has a section headed what I could not establish, because knowing where the answer stops is most of what makes it worth acting on.

When ChatGPT is the better answer

If you enjoy the tools, you'll set up a Project properly, and you'll sit down every week and do the asking — genuinely, use ChatGPT. It is cheaper than me and it will do a real job.

Most owners do not do that. Not from lack of ability. It is one more thing to remember, in a week that is already full, and it quietly stops after a fortnight. That is the whole reason this exists.
